JetBlue Poopy Seats Man Forced To Sit In Bathroom On Plane
No, JetBlue Airways is not piloting a new way for consumers to save money while flying by introducing the JetBlue Poopy Seats. A man is forced to sit in a bathroom on a JetBlue plane because an off-duty flight attendant was too uncomfortable in the employee “jump seat”.
What did the pilot have to say? According to the Associated Press report, the unnamed pilot said:
”... be grateful for being on board.”
Yes passenger Mr. Gokhan Mutlu, be grateful for the new JetBlue Poopy Seat program! Maybe he was offered, or forced, the first chance since he was flying a a JetBlue Airways employee Buddy Pass that is given to JetBlue Airways employee friends and family.
While this is against FAA regulation, all airlines can learn from the JetBlue Airways attempt at forcing a man to sit on the toilet seat inside the bathroom on a plane. The FAA stated to MSNBC
”We have very clear rules that passengers must have access to a seat belt for use in case of turbulence, and obviously that couldn't be done in a lavatory. The incident is under investigation.”
The moral of the story for money strapping airlines is if a seatbelt is installed with the toilet in the bathroom of a plane, there would be no problem here.
Mr. Mutlu now knows first hand how dangerous it can be to fly while sitting on a toilet seat with no seat belt. He took the honor of first man to be seated in the bathroom in-flight cross-country from San Diego, CA to New York, NY – but only for a handful of hours of the five and a half hour flight.
The “Today Show” reports:
Hey JetBlue, it could be worse. Your pilot could have made a PR nightmare statement by trying to find humor when a piece of your wing falls off while you are in the air – like this Northwest incident below.
Just in case you didn't get enough video coverage, here is more from MSNBC:
Acording to MSNBC, JetBlue has no comment.
Here's to you Mr. Mutlu. Spank JetBlue for $2 Million in the name of Consumer Rights. We vote NO for the new JetBlue Poopy Seats.
I hate the discount airlines. In fact I hate all airlines.
The only company I have had a great experience on is Frontier.
US Airways is inconsistent.
NWA - are you kidding?
SouthWest Airlines - No class (and they mean it)
United Airlines - not too shabby
Air Tran - NO WAY. Possibly my worse flight EVER.

Re: Where are other passengers coming forward
I was hoping someone would have taken the gag out at this point and said they remotely remember this.

Although the fact that they refuse to comment is pretty suspicious, and outrageous.

Also, you think that with all the media attention, another passenger on board would want to come forward. Other people on the plane couldn't have missed this!

I know this isn't the case with the JetBlue passenger, but just saying. I would fly everywhere that way lol.

I love JetBlue's no comment.
Hey, flyflopfold.com people - the NWA wing incident is actually another video to the JetBlue bathroom seat issue.
